Ed O'Boyle, who joined us at last year's rally, knows the area we'll be riding next spring better than anybody (reserve the weekend after Father's Day on your calendar). He agreed to help lay out a great off-road route for us. (If you don't remember, Ed rides a stock F650 GS - very well.) He also suggested a great location to stay: the Flying W motel. It is part of a local airport and is used for many rallies (double room about $90, but I may be able to get a group rate when I know how many are planning to come). It also has a good restaurant & pub, and they let campers pitch tents around the pool.
There is also a B & B in Medford Village, about 10 minutes away and 2 or 3 other good places to eat. Ed provided the links below so you can have a look at what's available and start thinking about what you want to do. Many thanks, Ed.
